Amy Winehouse has been threatened with legal action after firing on a concert in Paris just two hours before it was scheduled at the scene.

The "rehabilitation" was the title singer Rock en Seine Festival on Friday (29.08.08) but said the organizers at the last minute, she had been ill at his home and London would not appear.

Festival bosses are now planning to start legal proceedings against Amy because of the cancellation.

A statement posted on the website of the three-day event, said: "We were told Amy Winehouse by his agent at 8pm it would not be there, and we were forced to cancel the performance.

"We have still not been given any explanation of the exact reasons for his absence."

Amy - who was diagnosed with scarring of the lungs that can lead to chronic condition, pulmonary emphysema earlier this year - was too ill to travel to the issue, even if it does not need hospital care.

His spokesman would not comment on the legal threat, but said: "Amy Winehouse fell ill at his home and was unable to travel to France for the concert.

"She is currently at home recovering. The disease is not serious, just a short time in bed and a break in the song will not cure."

The troubled singer the next execution is scheduled for the music festival Bestival on the Isle of Wight, on Saturday (06.09.08).
